Uhde's experience in the engineering and construction of PVC plants dates back to the 1960s, when the first plants were built within the Hoechst group. The company has engineered and constructed plants with a production capacity of more than 1.5 million mtpy of PVC in total. The most recent example is a large PVC complex in Iran with a 300,000 mtpy PVC-S plant which is currently under construction.
Since 1990, Uhde has held an exclusive licence to market Vinnolit's MST Cyclone Drier technology. More than 35 driers using this technology are in operation worldwide.
