Rising prices for oil and gas, increasingly stringent anti-pollution regulations and the ever more costly disposal of production residues are challenges which need to be met. Uhde's answer is to provide cost-effective, high-tech gasification technologies for advanced power generation and chemicals and the economical use of resources. These technologies convert various feedstocks, such as coal, oil, gas, waste and refinery residues to a valuable synthesis gas - syngas. Further processing then yields a range of products, such as power and steam, chemicals, fuels and hydrogen.
